Bhiwandi youth for traffic awareness

Hello everyone! Might be shocked to see a blog for traffic safety! Hey friends, let me tell you, we are too late to realize the rapidly growing number of road accidents. Actually, we all are aware of these accidents but we think very less about it. We see in the television, news papers; hear on the radio and also from our friends about accidents which occur every now and then around us. But still we don't realize the future situation. It has been revealed by the WHO in its report on road safety, that the main contributing factors of road accidents are rash driving, drunken driving, low use of helmets and seat-belts, minor driving, child restraints, etc. Statistics say that every hour 40 people under the age of 25 years die in road accidents all over the world. Road accidents is the second most major cause of death for 5-29 years old people. In India alone, the death toll rose to 14 per hour in 2009 as opposed to 13 in the previous year!
Estimated data says that that near about 1,00,000 people die in India annually. The main victims of these accidents are youths- the supportive age group of the society. Thus, this initiative is taken up by Bhiwandi Traffic Police in co-ordination with the Bhiwandi Youths of NSS, Mumbai University, to aware people throughout, about road safety. This is a program by the YOUTHS and for the Youths. Today, the time has really come when we need to be awaken from our sleep and step ahead to SAVE HUMANITY. We always keepon hearing 'Save Water', 'Save Electricity', 'Save Forest', 'Save Wild life', etc. Have you ever heard, 'SAVE HUMANITY'?
So, come-on lets take up to something new and save humanity for which we are saving all the the resources! So start following the little road safety measures and also ask our friends to do the same. TAKE CARE AND BE SAFE!

Traffic training schools abroad!

Many people may scoff at the idea of attending a four or eight hour course at a traffic school, but in truth, traffic schools are a very important aspect to driver’s education. Usually, traffic school is used as a part of a punishment for breaking traffic laws or engaging in a traffic law violation, but these classes convey an important message overall. These traffic school courses serve as a reminder of the laws of the road and the potential consequences of what can happen when these laws are broken. When some traffic laws are broken lives can be lost.In many states, in order to obtain a drivers license, prospective drivers are required to read the state’s traffic education book, take a class on driver’s safety, and to pass both a written and practical driving test. While many people may think that they are driving experts once they obtain their license, they could not be further from the truth. Many people forget important safety laws and end up required to take a class or two at the local traffic school.Traffic school is not required after a person obtains his or her drivers license, however it can be court ordered or a voluntary event later on. In most cases, people end up in traffic school after they have had an accident or received a moving violation. Accidents and moving violations can potentially risk the safety and lives of others, so traffic school is an excellent way for a traffic violator to be reminded of what his or her actions could do. Many states offer traffic school as a way to avoid getting points added to your driving record and will keep your insurance premiums down. It is the intention of traffic schools to re-educate offenders so that the same mistakes will not be repeated again.
